Define the Style for a Table, View, or Column

Use the Style tab to set the preferences for displaying name and other definitions for a table, view, or column. You can either use the default theme for the object that is defined in the Theme Editor, or change the style to apply only to the current table, view, or column.

To define the style for a tables, views, or columns

  1. Open the property editor for the object for which you want to define style, and select the object in the Navigation Grid.
  2. Click the Style tab and work with the following options:
    Theme

    Displays the current theme in use by the object. Use the drop-down list to select an existing theme to use, click New New icon in property editors to create a new object to create a theme, or click Theme Editor Theme Editor Button in Property Editors to open the Theme Editor to define theme properties.

    Name Display

    Displays the Font, Fill, and Outline options used by the object's name in the diagram as defined by the current theme. Open the Theme Editor to change these settings.

    Comment Display

    Displays the Font, Fill, and Outline options used by the object's comments as defined by the current theme. Open the Theme Editor to change these settings.

    Column Display Fonts

    Displays the Font options used by the object's owned column and expression as defined by the current theme. Open the Theme Editor to change these settings.

  3. Click Close.

    Style is defined for the selected object and the property editor closes.
