When developing enterprise data warehouse and BI systems, most of the energy is focused on performance, data volumes (answering the ‘How’ question). Similarly when we think of yoga, we think for our body's fitness and well-being. Yogic meditation is the framework in understanding more about oneself. Yogic meditation is a conscious inward journey to know the soul by connecting to it and understanding how we react to situations and events. Similarly, a holistic Data Model enables us to know data by connecting to it to gain knowledge - not just information - in order to react harmoniously and effectively to a situation or event. The basic purpose of meditation is find what is known as ‘peace’. The yogic meditation frame work applied to the ‘Who’, ‘What’, ‘Where’, ‘When’ and ‘Why’ questions; so that you can discover the answers to your own ‘How’. In this presentation, you will learn more about the application of the yogic meditation framework to developed data models in SOA environment by using the yogic meditation frame work to understand the soul, and by using a holistic Data Model to understand your data, you too can make ‘peace’ in your own Cloud implementation!
