The erwin WFH (Work From Home) Impact Manager is a remote-work app that provides visibility and intelligence to help remote workers be more productive and process-compliant
The global pandemic is the single most disruptive event in modern times. Almost overnight organizations across the globe faced lockdowns, forcing them to switch to a remote-first workforce.
In some cases, those lockdown restrictions have eased and employees are venturing back to the office. In some cases, they were never lifted and those organizations continue remote work for the foreseeable future.
The pandemic has changed the world and with it – our perspective.
According to a Global Workplace Analytics survey of employees working remotely during the pandemic, 73% note that they are very successful when working from home, and 86% say they feel “fully productive” working from their home office. And 76% of respondents want to continue working from home at least 2.5 days per week, on average.
With or without lockdown restrictions, many organizations have decided remote work is a priority and is here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future. Companies like Google, Twitter, Facebook and Square already have announced their employees will work from home at least through the end of 2020.
But challenges persist if your organization doesn’t take proper precautions — from human resources to productivity and IT-security – especially where regulations such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are concerned.
In highly regulated environments, such as financial services, healthcare and pharma, attestations, audit trails and compliance reporting are required regardless of circumstances and will be difficult with a manual, laborious approach.
“Businesses are doing their best to manage this crisis with what they have, but spreadsheets, Word documents and Visio drawings shared through email are inadequate because they aren’t centralized, audit-ready or collaborative,” explains Adam Famularo, erwin’s CEO.
To address these challenges erwin’s development team created a new remote-work app, erwin WFH Impact Manager.
This free, cloud-based remote-work app provides organizations with a single source of information regarding remote workers’ locations, communication preferences and the processes, systems and technologies to support them in being productive and compliant as they work from home in response to COVID-19.
erwin WFH Impact Manager is offered free of charge for 180 days. The remote-work app will help companies:
erwin WFH Impact Manager is delivered via a multi-tenant SaaS environment using an organization’s own domain name. Unlike other free, low-code applications, WFH Impact Manager is a zero-code solution because it does not require any development or IT expertise.
It comes with an out-of-the-box template with five business personas: inside sales rep, sales manager, HR manager, IT manager and compliance manager. These personas are completely customizable by the user, and fast starts can be fuelled by direct import of Excel- or CSV-formatted data from an HRIS system.
We have also produced a range of tools to help companies start benefitting from WFH Impact Manager quickly, including videos, built-in tutorials, and threaded discussions on a dedicated user community.
