Allow Special Characters in the Physical Model Object Name

You can allow special characters in a physical model object name. Every database has a list of invalid or special characters that you should not use in physical model object names. For more information about special characters for your target database, see your vendor's SQL Reference Guide.

To allow special characters in the physical model object name

1. Click Model Naming Options on the Actions menu.

   The Model Naming Options dialog opens.

2. Click the Physical tab.

   The Physical tab opens.

3. Select the Allow special DBMS characters check box and click OK.

   Special characters are allowed in the physical model object name and the Model Naming Options dialog closes.
