Add a User-Defined Property to a Logical Object

You can define custom properties and assign them to different classes of logical model objects. These user-defined properties (UDPs) are properties that you create to document and notate the logical object classes.

To add a user-defined property to a logical object

  1. Open the property editor of the logical object for which you want to add a user-defined property.

The property editor opens on the UDP tab. The current user-defined properties assigned to the object are displayed.

  2. Click the Property Editor UDP Tab_User Defined Properties Editor Button icon.

The User Defined Properties : Logical dialog opens, where you can add, edit, or delete UDPs based on their class.
