Work With Roles in a Property Editor

You can use the Roles tab to display and work with roles that apply to the current editor. For example, if you click the Roles tab in the Database Roles editor, you can associate a role in the list with a database role.

To work with roles in a property editor:

1. Open the property editor for an object and select the Roles tab.

   A list of available roles is displayed.

2. Select the check box next to a role to associate it with an object in the editor.

   With Admin Option

   Indicates if you want the role with administrative options.

3. Click the Sort icon to display the list in alphabetic or reverse alphabetic order.

   Click Close.

   The property editor closes.
